    1968 911 Chassis Number 1328

    Good Morning,

Does anybody know where a 1968 911(S?) with chassis number 1328 would be? I have found that car's heater slides in my 57 356! Happy to reunite them with their rightful car.

    So it's either 11811328 or 11861328 if it was a 911L (no '68 911S with a VIN that high of a number)...

I bit of a needle in a haystack...

In my VIN list I do not have any 1968 911 with a VIN over 1267, and only the 1968 912 Karmann Coupe with a VIN that high. In 1969 there are 3 possibilities.
I wonder if that is a stock # rather than a partial VIN.

I am scheduled to speak to the previous owner of my 356 and will ask if he remembers anything about these but he would have worked on that car in the 90s. I am only trying to return them to the current owner of the 911 if it still exists, this is not a commercial transaction, rather from one Porsche fanatic to another!
