    sport seat headroom/ lowering

Hi to all, I need to lower some 1973 vintage recaro sport seats in a '73 911, they have the track and tilt feature and are in the lowest hole now. Would like to lower the seats about 5 cm. Surely some one has had this issue, I would be interested in your solutions, especially retaining the tilt feature. Thanks

5cm is floor level. How tall are you? Maybe a Targa would fit you better.

Just have a long torso, same from seat to head as a friend who is 6'7''. Really want to retain the sport seats with tilt, and not fill the sunroof. Thanks

You have a long Torso and bought a car with a sunroof and sportsseats?
I´m 6´7", but not one of my cars has a sunroof.

The Recaro standards (or comfort) seats give you more headroom.
For more headroom with a sportseat you may use the lightweight seat mounts made by Cartex/Sitzklinik. But this combination will only work if you have only a a long torso and not long legs. No rails! or you do some on your own.
For extra headroom with sportseat you may use the lightweight seat mounts made by Zuffenhaus and a aftermarket Recaro S or idealsitz, which has the sliders directly mounted on the seatbase.
