    Stone Guard on rockers?

Hey guys, my 72' T is very near being painted. I came across a build thread of a very nice 911 where they had applied Stone Guard to the lower section of the rockers. Would this be correct for a 72'T with S trim?

also not certain what the purists would say, but i did it on mine, too. i want to drive this fun car, and there would be too many stone chips down there without the rock guard.

however, if i was showing the car, or buying it for a collection, the answer might be different.

    Great for a driver.

Doesn't the 'full-rocker' "S"-trim cover most of it anyway?

Is that not correct? Looks fine to me ends under the trim.
