    MFI guru near San Diego?

Living in San Diego, where should I take my car to have an expert MFI mechanic look it over and tune it to perfection? Unfortunately Ed Mayo's shop in Dallas is too far, but I'm willing to drive to LA if that's what I need to do.

We should have an MFI expert page for reference. People who we know are expert on tuning and maintenance of MFI and where they are located. I'm lucky my guy is here in town.

David, I agree that would be helpful.

I've heard TLG is good. Just wondering if there are any closer options. I may just end up taking it up to them. I suppose it's a very southern California problem to want an MFI expert closer than 3 hours away

Take your car to Glenn Roberts at Personalized Autohaus (Wayne Baker's shop). He's been working on these cars for decades. Nothing is a mystery to him at all. Call them at 858-586-7771, tell them Nick sent you.

+1 on Glenn at Wayne's shop. Did magic on my '72 when I still lived in the area.

if you get the car there this week you should see my tangerine 72 T (with a few modifications!). Glenn built the motor and assembled the car.

Thanks, Ben. I just missed you at the shop. I was there after you dropped your car off, but yours looks great as well. I'll PM you so we can exchange contact info since we are local to one another. I'm really itching to get my car out of the shop. Assembly is 100% done, finally. Glenn test drove it yesterday and is doing final sorting over the next few days. It's close....really close.
