    Documentation for 1965/66 2.0l

    HI

I am looking for any in period documentation or Porsche option lists which show the possible options for owners to convert or modify there cars for racing, in particular the engine and exhaust.
Alternatively, in 1966 Falk and Linge drove a modified 2.0l at the Rally Monte Carlo (famed 147 numbered car). Is there any documentation of which modifications where undertaken for that car.

Need this info relating to German TÜV clearance for my car...

Thank you for any guidance in advance,
    Thomas

I'm not sure how much this helps, maybe it will jog someone's memory.

Maybe 17 years ago I was corresponding with another '65 911 owner and found the parts list for a sort of power kit for Solex carbureted engines. There were rain shields to replace the air cleaner and some different jets. It might have added 5 to 10 hp.

I looked but I haven't located the list of parts since.

    do these help?
the first one is dated 4/67 so maybe a bit late but should be broadly the same and the second set, for which I dont know the date, is in German as well as English for sports kit 1 and 2 and does cover the Solex carbs so is quite early. Otherwise there is the 1968 publication "Information regarding Porsche vehicles used for sports purposes" which a google search should find a downloadable version, of perhaps FIA homologation paper 547 for the 1966 homologation of the 911 into Group 3. There have been links posted on the site recently to where that can be downloaded from.
