    67s Sun Roof Drains?

I am restoring 1967 911s S/N 305634. Some time in the cars life the entire sunroof, roof was removed due to an accident. The 67 Sun Roof cars I have seen have exterior Sun Roof drains in the roof just behind the "B" pillars like the 356s. During the work on this car, built on 9-13-66, we found original to this Chassis it had internal Sun Roof drains from the factory. The tubes are made into the lower "C" pillars that are original to the car. (exits at the engine lid channel, like most 70-80 911s) Does anyone know when the factory switched from external drains, "B" pillar, to internal drains, engine channel?
    Any info is appreciated.

What your describing sounds like the car had a Golde sunroof originally not a factory installed sunroof.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

303212 had a sunroof with rear drains at the rear lid channels and the motor in front like a 356. Probably sent to Golde after production. My 67S 305607s was finished 8-28-66.

'66 had the drains in the outside of the C pillar, '67 had the drain in the end of the C pillar under the deck lid.
