Don't hate sheepskins...where are the best ones?

Who makes really good sheepskins for early 911 seats?

There used to be a place in Sonoma. DO NOT put these on light colored seats, they bleed color.

Might consider buying the sheepskins you want and having a local upholstery place make them. That is what I did- until I removed them... in 1986. I only did it until I had two matching seats in the car. They were really comfortable though.

Haha. I was driving around a friend's old Rolls and the sheepskins were so great! Agree they wouldn't look great in a 911, but so comfy.

I love sheepskins. The best ones are the deluxe covers Porsche owners take off their newly aquired cars and sell for a song on ebay and Pelican. They are out of favor for the stylish. Low back covers come up less often. I have 911 sheepskins on my Sprinter van and Japanese cars, plush, almost new and dirt cheap, $100-150 a pair, compared to buying them new, $500-600
