    Original dashboard 911 2.7 RS 1972

    Looking for a original dashboard for a 911 2.7 RS 1972.

    Thanks

73RS? Or one of the 72 prototypes? Isn't that just a standard 70-75 dash? Or were the RS dashes special in some way?

I am no expert in the RS models.
It is for a friend of mine that I am looking.
Other more expert persons could reply on your question maybe?

    99.99% it's the same dash.

Assuming so, it won't be cheap to find an original. I bought two very nice, uncracked original dashes last year in the $6k-$7k each range. Frank B. advertised one awhile back that was NOS (although with an incorrect, later speaker grill) for, I think, around $10k or so. Lakewell.com sells the best reproduction currently available for 890 euros.

    100% it's the same dash.

Some people have confused the '76 dash (no speaker grille, no vent) for "RS dash." Logical, but not so. RSs had standard 70-75 form factor dashes.

Depends on who you're buying from.

I think an RS dash is different.

I have replaced the dashboard on my 1973 RS, it is exactly the same as all other dashboards delivered in 72/73 911's, PET number 911.552.031.00. Speaker cover for all type cars 911.552.048.00 as per 72/73 Spare Parts Catalog. I still have the original dash but it has some imperfections..

    Kind regards,

    cees

They are the same, I have several on the shelf but they belong to Cars. Just for file though the 74 on does differ slightly.
