Good question John, I'm interested in hearing as well. On my ST got 2 small dash plugs from Stoddard to fill the dash holes used for rear defrost and fog lights. I kept the cig lighter mostly so I could have a way to charge my phone with a USB plug.

The 74 RSR that Fantasy Junction sold a while ago was equipped with a cigarette lighter. FWIW

The factory might've included one...but the racing team would've thrown it away immediately...

That's perfect then. I'll roll with it Monday thru Friday and ditch it when I go racing on the weekend!

Creates a funny image in my head. Super cool 70's driver with open face helmet lighting a cig while driving the Mulsanne.

    Sorry, not helpful I know.

Vic Elford told me one of his favorite Porsches was the 911R, he stated he could toss his cigarette out of the bubble vent... A photo of RSR 9113601008...

I think that you could use it as a power supply, for a smartphone by example.
