Right Rear Tail Light Wiring Harness

The RH rear taillight wiring harness on my car, which I suspect is not original to the car (1969), has two separate pairs of wires.
I expected to see one pair for the oil level sender and have no idea what the other pair is for. Any ideas?

Hi, The extra feed from memory is the license plate light. Which is for a post 73 car.

Thanks Alan - that makes sense.
Hopefully the wiring configuration in the plugs remained the same so that I can use this harness on my 69 and the lights and oil level sender will operate correctly.
