    (New) 911 Porsche Classic Muffler w/ 60mm Outlet - 1965-73

Is anyone familiar with this muffler? Brand?
When you don't find a original Leistritz muffler (standard on early 911 - don't know when Bischoff was used) , is this a good alternative?
I see some part numbers and 901 signs on the muffler.

Am very curious if this has the correct wonderful early Leistritz sound. The Dansk repop is just terrible -- loud, tinny, and cheap.

I am also curious if this is a good alternative on a Leistritz.
Or if better buy a Bischoff?
I have mailed with Aaesales but they can't tell the brand or supplier of it.
    All info welcome.

I just purchased 911-111-025-05 from my Porsche dealer which is what they call for as the correct replacement for my 70-S. At least physically, the muffler looks perfectly vintage and correct...have not yet installed it so I can't speak to the sound but suspect it will be just fine for me. Here are the only stampings on the muffler:

    911/1 911.111.025.05 GERMANY 06/14

Retail price was $1079....I buy thousands and thousands of dollars of parts from my dealer....he sold me this unit for $775.

    Mac73,

Is it possible to post some picture of all the stamped text on the muffler? Woud be great.
So there is a manufacturing date of 06/14 on it?
Do you maybe know is this 65-73 muffler that aasesales sells is the same muffler as yours?
You just bought it with your Porsche dealer you said...
