    SOLD
Manufacturing date Oct 83 (350 Bosch code) and in perfectly new condition.
Lenses don't have what is usually called "shelf ware". They are virtually new.
Original screws and blue washers are all present.

I still have them. AASE has one -not a pair- for sale and looking at what they are asking for it I'm wondering if I shouldn't bump my asking price up ;-)

The fact they haven't sold their one and you haven't sold your pair should tell you something

The folks on here are pretty savvy.

    You have a point Clyde!

I took those two lenses out of the box last night to talk to them. They basically told me they believe they deserve to be on a 1973 T,E,S - or even RS- concours restoration. They also told me that if there is no such project right now -or no willingness to spend what they believe they worth- they don't mind going back on the shelf where they have been for the past 30+ years. ;-) They also told me I was right to be mad when I see $200k+ restorations that have lenses without the right specs;-)

    I take this as a compliment ;-)

If this can help the deal I believe I still have a NOS pair of taillight US spec in the box with the correct SAE 72 marking (not the most recent that all have the SAE 77 marking and imo are not correct for our cars). It won't be cheap but this would make a complete set front and rear.

One question remains: Are they Bosch replacements or Factory Bosch replacements as delivered on the cars originally?? The photos do not answer that question.

There should be the tiny original Porsche parts triangular mark containing the stylized "PD" molded into the lower 90 degree corner of each lense. No triangle, not factory original. Only Bosch replacement.
