    Rear Tunnel Cover Paint/Texture

My tunnel cover has rusted and I would like to bring it back to its original appearance. The texture has a bit of grit to it, seemingly different than the wrinkle finish on the seat hinge plates. Any advice on how to recreate the look? Thanks in advance.

Tunnel cover is a true "black crackle" finish.

Several paints available. I use VHT.

Seat recliners were done on the cheap by Recaro.

They splattered upholstery glue and then satin black enamel.

Mark, thank you very much! Interesting trivia there on the Recaro approach, too.

Is the crinkle finish correct for a 71 as well.? and BTW, if anybody has the fabric hard cover that goes UNDER the grill, I'm a buyer. Thanks
