Correct perforated vinyl wanted for 1971 Recaro sport seats

Hi everybody, I"m trying to replace one ripped bolster of my original Recaro's. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the correct perforated vinyl. The samples i got have either punch holes that are to small or the distance/ pattern between the holes is not correct. Does anybody know where to get the original material? I'm also willing to buy used left overs to patch up my seat. Any leads are highly appreciated. Thanks, Jens.vinyl wanted2.jpgvinyl wanted.jpg

Try some of the upholstery shops people use here, like Autobahn, Autos International, World Upholstery, etc. see if they have any original pieces lying around from recovers. Also try the recreation guys like Stefan at GTS classic car seats, I have one of his seats and the perfs look pretty close. See below:

Mike, thanks so much for the lead! Judging from your pic, the material is spot on! I'll contact Stefan immediately.

hi thanks, but my seats are pretty good - just the driver side bolster is not... but depending on where you're located - a friend of mine is looking for a set for his 1969 car.

Tony Garcia has the correct perforated vinyl but holes are smaller when new but will stretch out in the long run.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Looks like Stefan has the dimpled perfs nailed. My brain did a reset when I saw your aftermarket seat with period correct vinyl. Although perhaps pattern needs to be adjusted ever so slightly?

Mike, how about a closer photo or two?
