    1969 hood latch?

    I have a 1969 911 that was converted to a 1974 impact bumper car in the 1980's.

i am converted it back to 1969 and selling off the 1974 hood and fenders.

Would this latch on the 1974 hood be correct for 1969?

I'd remove that little Hella light in the lower corner of the hood. There are two of those on a '69.

Two on a '69 911S...only one on right/passenger side on 912s, Ts and Es. Left side opening on the single light cars has a cardboard cover with plastic rivets.

No trunk light on my '69T, and no cover.

Both my '69T and '69 912 had a single light.....if there's not a single, someone removed it. Check up in the right trunk/dash area behind the cardboard wiring cover...the wires will be there. What about the spring plunger switch on the right hinge?? I believe the owner's manual references the trunk light.

Two lights on my '69 S. Exact same light used for a license plate light on my '66 bug. Probably others too. The Hella lenses are probably long gone.
