    Gas heater hole question

I am trying to reform part of the bulkhead on my car next to the smugglers box. In the past someone cut this away and I am missing the large hole under the heater where the Webster gas heater ducting passed through and the 3 small holes for the screws.

I found a rubber plug on eBay that is supposed to be for this hole when the heater is not fitted. This appears to require a 92mm hole. But to find the small holes I bought the gasket that fits the hole 90157252700 and find the hole is only 70mm.

Can someone let me know what the correct hole diameter is? And ideally some triangulation dimensions to locate it and the three small screw holes.

The flat area it fit in is quite right so there is only a small scope for error but I would like to get it right.

My car is 1970 LHD spec.

Will try and post some photos
    Thanks

Photos of parts and my bulkhead

Maybe the rubber is not the correct part even though I was told it was?

Isn't the replacement tin available through the usual suspects?

Not that I can find. If it is please can I have a link or details if there is a small patch available. The rest of the bulkhead is sound so I don't want to replace all the bulkhead at a cost of $$$. I really just want to drill out the hole.

Michael, the rubber plug you have covers the duct at the BOTTOM of the smugglers box when the heater is not fitted.

What you want is an embossed cardboard circle, black in color, with a tangent notch cut out of the side. That will tell you the size of the hole with the three screws.
    Franz can help. Franz?

I see now. Most of the inside area of my smugglers box had been cut away in the past in some half assed conversion to RHD.
The gasket I have should then give me the hole size (70mm) and screw spacing.

All I need now is the part that from your description, sounds as if it's made of card with a embossed surface to blank off the hole. Is there a part number I can use to order one from Porsche or can anyone provide this used?

If not then I will try making one so a photo would help

    Thanks
