Thread: Great day for a drive down under

Great day for a drive down under

We are having an unusual spell of spectacular weather in Melbourne, Australia so took the opportunity to take my new acquisition for a drive through some of our very best country driving roads.

I have a great respect for others who drive these cars on 165 tyres, which this car currently has, not for much longer though!!!

I was not far away from "The Misses" she would have been at home in the passenger seat as it was on her usual side.

Weather is awesome this weekend so Rye will be flat out.

Since I always drive the Porsche I believe she is used to your seat? I heard the weather is spectacular now. The misses is visiting Our daughter who lives there with her other half.
Next time I am in OZ I shall give you fair warning. We need to spend a few minutes on a Dunkle Mas at the Hauf Brau. Pretty close to the flavor of the one in Munich

    Cheers friend

Look at the terrain, you can tell the roads are awesome

Our first part of Autumn has been sensational weather we usually have boom and bust build up to 40 deg C over a few days then storm and cool change repeat cycle
but lately just great weather most days. Almost like living in CA I suspect

Southern California is the best weather in the world. (some will argue) The beaches are rarely hot and rarely cold. Yet go inland and you have flaming hot deserts and snow. It is one of the very few places in the world where you can Go surfing in the morning, desert dirt riding in the noon and then drive up the mountain for a night ski and be home by 10PM

Driving your right side left roads are incredibly confusing. Even after 15 days in OZ I wanted to pull out and hug the right side.
