Seeking info on a SWB engine lid

I came across this engine lid. It is numbered and seems to have wholes for both the early and late script. I would appreciate any info you guys might have on this engine lid.
    Thanks, Chris

Any of the script holes braced closed at any time in the past? I have a similar one on my 67 Deluxe, which is a # match for my car. 67 Deluxe cars are 66 series cars sold as 67 deluxe with 66 serial #s 304703- 304955 = 253. My deck lid has the 66 script holes brazed closed & has the 67 style block lettering with the 911 block top center as the later 67 s have. My car also has a block 911 on the glove box! ...... no one knows for sure if ALL Deluxes have the block lettering or not..... cliff

Dealers and perhaps the factory were obsessed with updating the 66 model cars. My May 66 German market 911 was sold used by a dealer in NY as a 67 911L with the new rear script. Easier to reverse than those 70s-80s style updates to short hood.

The lower right early holes are brazed. I bought this engine lid. I don't know what if anything I'll do with it. I just found it interesting and stuck it on a wall.
