    Moonlight . . .

    . . . the movie

Never heard a single solitary word about this film, never saw a preview, never read a review

Only heard about it after the Academy Awards

Nothing that I'd go to, on my own

    Zovig took us today . . . at the cut-price theatre . . . showing the no-longer-current releases

    I was totally blown-away . . .

    . . . best movie I've seen in a long, long time

Not very promising material, with a huge potential for going off in a predictable/violent/depressing direction, but --- if you can put away some expectations, and stay with it . . . heart-breaking . . . heart-wrenching

Never seen anything like it. Characters + subject matter, events, setting, camera work --- a whole 'nother world . . .

    Yep.
Same here, best movie I've seen in a long while.
Would not have chosen on my own either
My niecelet is a member of S.A.G and was sent a preview copy.
The range of emotions the cast displays is phenomenal, especially the main character.
It's a very very good show.
