    Correct nut- bolt finish question.?

I am about to send all my parts to the plating company. Despite a search on this site i still don't have the right answers for the correct finish for a MY70 car.

The one's that have me stumped are the following: Front strut spindle nut. drive shaft bolts. Caliper mounting bolts.

    Thanks in advance

My opinion is those should be a black/grey oxide finish.

If you have a parts book for your model year, lots of times the hardware for that application will have the coating/plating finish listed at the end. phs at the end of the description would be phosphating for the black finish. G.Led

Stretch, remember only the German is correct, translations in English aren't always correct. I go from known plating colors on hardware, find the plating in the description, when there, in the parts book and note the German. Gordon
