I'm returning my '73 MFI to some version of the non-pressure fed chain tensioners. My original rear piece of engine tin has been slotted to clear the external oil line that is required for the Carrera style tensioners. Before I weld up the slot in my perfectly good part, I thought that there must be someone out there that is updating to the pressure fed tensioners and is not looking forward to slotting their tin. My tin is actually in very good shape; your tin must be good enough that it will look like new after just painting - no rusted or tweaked parts, please.
