Auto Total extinguisher. 911R TR, ST, 906. 910 Dated 11/66

The very last unit from my collection.

"Auto Total" Original german fire extinguisher as fitted to Factory race 911R, 906, 910, TR, ST factory race cars.

Attached images show this unit installed in the rear of the, 1969 Monte Carlo rally winning Waldergard ST. And the front footwell of a race 910 at Le Mans 1967. Also present in the front footwell of,prototype 911R. R3.

This unit has a casting date stamp of, 11/ 1966. The strap has a small piece missing form it's end. Despite this, it is one of the nicest units i have found and has very nice patina. complete with original bracket. The missing detail in the finest cars.

Shipping worldwide is included which is costly at 200 dollars hazardous goods.

    £800 UK pounds. Delivered worldwide.

Does the missing bit of the strap Dave mean that it doesn't hold the bottle in the bracket securely?
If the bottle were mounted vertically does the strap flop?

    Regards

    Mike,

Strap still tucks behind the bracket, so it will stay in position if standing upright. The bracket is sprung loaded so it holds without the strap.
