    Charlie White R.I.P.

Charlie White's Daughter asked me to post this for their family.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    From the Charlie White Family:

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charlie White. His interest in Porsche began in college at the University of Arizona. Since that time, his passion for the cars grew. He accumulated a wealth of knowledge, which he enjoyed sharing with others. He was a Porsche enthusiast, collector, author, and most importantly, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. We appreciate the support of the Porsche community over the years.

Charlie will be greatly missed, and he will be forever in our hearts.

Oh my gosh. He posted here about his book just a few weeks ago.

Condolences; he was a huge benefit to the Porsche community and will be greatly missed.

More details when appropriate would be appreciated.

Though I never met Charlie, he was always courteous and helpful in all our e-mail 'conversations'.
He was truly passionate about Porsche and it would be a great idea to try to incorporate some elements from his website (if possible) so that his work lives on (I know the 365 crowd are looking to do the same...)
Thanks and RIP Charlie, and condolences to your family...
