Early911SRegistry/RGruppe Coffee and Doughnutfest Sat April 1

This is no joke. It is happening.
We are expecting a massive turnout.
The weather is going to be bright any sunny, temps in the low 70s.
I've got it on good authority that there will be a few well known Porsche personalities here from out of state and from across both the Pacific and the Atlantic.
Doughnuts arrive at 9:00 but the street fills up with cars by 8:30. Please don't park your Prius or other POS on Harlan St. We try and keep Harlan for early Porsches. There is plenty of over flow parking on Park St in front of Pixar.

Hope to see many of you here on Saturday morning.

    Regards

    Jim

There was an incredible turnout. Parking on Harlan St was completely taken up by 8:00AM. I got here at 8:45 and people were having to park a block away. In a word, it was nuts! Sure was fun, though.
The first picture is some of the cars on Harlan St. The next 2 pictures are of some of the overflow parking on Park St.

    Ciao

    Jim

I was looking forward to enjoying my usual trifecta, that is, the rare weekend when the first Saturday of the month donut fest and a CSRG charity event co-incide, with a quick side-trip to Fantasy Junction completing the triad of events, but after spending some time at EASY I got so involved that I decided to put the visit to Sears Point off until tomorrow, if I go at all.

It was an amazing morning...............as Jim predicted, massive turnout, possibly the highest numbber of cars ever, huge crowd, outstanding weather - in short, definitely worth staying, basking in the glorious spring weather and enjoying the company of friends.

Without a lot of commentary, some random images from this morning's phenomenal meeting.

Note: I hate it when the computer starts thionking on its own - such as i when out of the clear blue the damned thing decides to make the signature on the photos larger, but it's late and I will fix it at another time.............in the meantime, please forgive the obnoxious faux pax.

    ....................and another set.

Photos # 5, 6 & 7 show our ever-gracious and cheerful host, Jim Breazeale, owner of EASY, and some rare glimpses of the inside of his famous Porsche-only salvage yard.

Many who ventured into 356 and early 911 ownership who'd have been lost without Jim's expertise, the wise guidance born of long years oif experience, and the patience to explain what works and what doesn't..............and most importantly the WHY behind it all. Thanks, Jim.

Another short set, this time all my personal favorites from Fantasy Junction.

The red long-nose Ferrari 275 GTB was to die for, and I got lucky with the sun coming through the skylight at just the right moment.

    Thanks for looking.
