    S front bumper info

    Hi guys I think I know the answer to this but can you all confirm that the s bumper with spilt air dam was only made in steel ?

    Yes, steel only from the factory.

    Basically yes,,,,but there about a hundred made in fiberglass, I assume because the stampings weren't yet ready.

    We have an early glassfibre bumper which we believe is factory supplied as it has the correct part numbers moulded into the mounting brackets.

    The numbers look as if Dymo Embossed labels were applied to the buck for these parts before moulding.

    It came off a very early S and we now have almost finished its restoration.
