Original screws for black trim rear tail light lenses

I was looking at an NOS tail light lens with the SAE AIP 2 STR 72 marking (the original lenses that came on 73 911s. Later they had the SAE AIP 2 STR 77 marking) and I realized that they had chromed screws with blue washers. I looked at my 73 and it also has the chromed screws. This specific NOS lens has a manufacturing date of April 76 (at least this what is written on the Bosch box it's in)

Later lenses have black screws and blue washers

Is it commonly admitted that those screws on 73s should be chromed and not black?

Early cars had silver screws including your '73. Later Porsche transitioned to black screws. I have some info on this somewhere and I'll see if I can find it. My memory says 1977 but that could be off by a year or two.
