How does one find out if the their 69T motor is eaely or late? Production number/date?
If it is early, I can supposedly install 1969S heads.

Don't think I'd put "S" heads on a "T" without a LOT of other mods.

Well, if given the serial and/or build # then I can tell you how far into 1969 production the engine is.

the 1969S head was a one year only head.
If you have an early 1969T engine, it will accept the 1969S head.
If you have a late 1969T engine, it will not accept the 1969S head. (You can use a 70S+ head however).
From what i have seen, the 1969S head is nice little upgrade to the 69T.

the 69 s head is only unique because of valve size. with the 2.2 engine piston dome and chamber size changed ,also head gasket type.

In my '69T rebuild we're taking it to S spec. No reason not to do it.
just to be clear, yes, your 69S heads will fit on your 69T engine.
