    headlight issue on 73 911

    hello im working on a 73 911 some one else started to put together after paint and body work.
    park light work when headlight switch is pulled to first position however when i pull the switch to 2nd position no power at any of the 4 fuses for left and right headlamp the park lights are working on both positions all the wires are conected on the switch all fusees are good no power either side of fuse

    yes however from my research the headlamp switch should be live key on or key off.
    Is this true?

    I wasn't referring to wiring at the switch,,,,just that if the ignition isn't on you don't get headlights. Now the multi-meter will become your friend. With a just assembled car the possibilities are endless!
