    Porsche Air Cooled Rental - Weekend of May 6th/7th

    Good Morning,

    My son and I will be attending Luftgekuhlt on May 7th in LA. We are coming in from the Toronto area (Canada) and I am looking at renting an air cooled Porsche for a couple days to surprise my son. He is a car fanatic and I am looking to make it a very memorable father/son trip for him.

    I am a professional 'adult' (with a pristine driving record) and a long time Porsche owner. I would be willing to pay a fair price (with deposit, etc) for the opportunity. The car likely would get used mostly on the Saturday and be parked the majority of the Sunday due to the show. We are staying at the Hyatt Centric (Long Beach).

    If anyone knows of a potential lead, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Bill, Funny enough we thought about it. It is just a timing issue. With my son being in school and it being a busy time for me it just wasn't realistic. We also had flight credits to use.

    Maybe next year Ron will make the trip with my son and I !!
