Apologize for the interference, but I don`t think that this is an original Durant Exterior.

Maybe I'm wrong but the mirror being offered seems to have the "pointy" stars of an original mirror...not the stubby diamond-shaped stars of a repop. Maybe we can see a clearer photo?

Thank you for clarifying 68er . But the photo of your original is clearly identical proportionally to the mirror I have. Also the stamp is the same location and same stamping... It looks nothing like the repop photo included. The repop photo stamp is about an inch from the edge and the orignals are just over a cm from edge like the one I have. its an original and its SOLD

The mirror that sold does not look original to me, it is a better reproduction than the photo of the one above but the stamp is not correct. The 3 stars need to be half way inside the "Made in Germany" semi-circle. This should help: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...d=1#post712646
