THE IMPOSSIBLE: Factory aluminum long hood

Yes, it's expensive. But where have you seen one for sale? And how many people even believe they were made?
This is a factory aluminum hood, with special reinforcement and stamped through holes for rubber hold down receivers. There are many detail differences showing Porsche didn't simply put aluminum parts into the standard die stamping machines (which you can't do with aluminum, anyway) I hate to think of the engineering cost behind this part.

So, you want to have bragging rights *forever* on your _-Gruppe ride? This will do it. The part is very straight and light (but has a ton of paint on it, so can be lighter still.)

$7500 local cash deal. $500 crating charge plus shipping if you are not local.

    Addendum:

Probably has about 3 lbs of paint & primer on it. As-is, weighs 21 lb, 4 oz.

Oh, and the crest is a later version, unfortunately.
