    Bill Sluiter: Celebration of Life

This still feels like it can't really be happening, but I must say that on Friday, April 28th 2017 my father, William Sluiter, passed away. He was 64 years old and we still had plenty of years to look forward to together.

My mother and I are going to have a celebration of life on this Friday, May 5 (their 38th wedding anniversary). I will update when we have confirmed the location and time. We plan to have anyone who wishes to share stories, to be held at a restaurant.

We have been receiving lots of support from friends which is very comforting. We are also starting to see just how many lives he touched, some that we never knew about.

My condolences Max. Way too young. From what I've seen and heard, the two of you made the most of time together, though. Take comfort in those memories.

We are having a funeral mass for my Dad on this Friday, May 5 at 10:00 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Westlake Village. This will be a simple mass, no eulogy or vigil. There will be a celebration of life for everyone to tell stories at Mediterraneo Restaurant in Westlake Village at 11:30 right after the mass. All are welcome to attend either or both events. Please RSVP if you are coming to the restaurant so we know if we need to increase the reservations. Use my email maximiliansluiter at gmail
