I guess three prongs. (How they're secured).
Also, 2 small holes for removal.

I'm no expert...but weren't the holes added much later?

Agree, '67 alloy caps had no holes. Same cap as '68 alloy wheel 15x5.5 cap. A plain unpainted alloy cap silver design with Porsche crest motif.
Note, the prongs do break very easily - been thru a few. Makes for a nice belt buckle at that point.
Appears Stoddard, SierraMadre, and others may still have them: "901-361-032-00 Silver "3-clip" Wheel Hub Center Cap for 911 912 With Fuchs or ATS Alloy Wheels 90136103200."

New caps out of the box will not match your wheels you need to include them when having your wheels redone. So best just to buy good used ones.

my 67S came with 1970's Fuchs when i bought it. It actually has unpainted 3 prong center caps without holes on these wheels. I might try these center caps with my freshly restored 15x4.5 Fuchs as they appear correct surprisingly enough!

    Oops. You're right, NO holes.
Was thinking of wife's '14 Carrera...

Also, according to Harvey Wiedman, caps DID originally have a slightly different finish/color than the wheels (lighter)

The "PORSCHE" font comes in two styles, a thin and a thicker style. Can't remember which is earlier. Harvey will know
