    FS: NOS 901 Shift Knob

    Up for sale is a OEM NOS 901 5 speed shift knob in pristine condition never installed. The acrylic is in perfect condition there are some reflections in the photo. Price is $265 shipped to CONUS. SOLD .... SOLD

    Is there any way you can retake the pictures without the flash or in better lighting. It looks like a repro but I believe it is an original just bad pictures, we need one of the opening where the shaft goes in to be sure it rounded on the edge like the originals.

    would the 67S have the shift pattern on it or would it be blank?

    On the 912's at least, the change happened during the 67 model year. If you have a really early or really late car, we can probably figure out what's correct. In the middle, not so clear. May depend on what shift lever you have, threaded or plain.

    Thread shaft used plain knob. March 21, 1967 was the changeover for the pattern in the window knob. Press on ONLY. As a wise man once noted you couldn't get the numbers to line up if it was screwed on. I think his name is Harvey Weidman.
