    4.5 Fuchs Authenticity

Hi, I'm trying to authenticate some 4.5" Fuch wheels I want to buy. They both have the fox head on them, but the stamp reads only Jx15 without the 4.5 in front missing. Is this normal? Has anyone seen this before?

Yes. many of the 4.5s had some or all of the lettering taken off. If it has a Fox head, then it is a real Fuchs.....4.5?..... I would have to see some good photos...There are some (mainly in the UK) who are narrowing other Fuchs to 4.5....

Hi thanks, why would the grind off the 41/2 but leave the rest of the jx15. Quite daunting when spending a lot of £££.
