LWB signal units should be just plug and play....if it came with it's wiring harness. If all you have is the housing....you need to transfer the harness and connections, taking notes and drawings, form the old one to the new one. The harness passes through the backing plate via a grommet, and the harness connections inside the housing are generic blade terminals to their respective bulb sockets. The harness outside the housing ends in a round multipin bulkhead plug with a grommet like lip that fixes to a hole between the engine compartment and the rear inner wheel well in the rear. A harness plug inside the engine compartment then connects to that plug. It's the same at the front with the harness end round grommet plug passing through a hole between the inner front wheel well and trunk. You can see the round plugs in the trunk just above the batteries.

Expanding on this thread a bit. Does anybody make a complete assembly screw kit to attach F+R LWB signal housings to the body.? I see there is one for SWB cars (screw, grommet and rubber washers) but nothing for LWB cars that I can find. There are the screws themselves available, and the housings seem to have a black soft washer that I cannot locate.? Any help appreciated and apologize for hijacking here
