All I have to do is pull out the lawn chairs and get my glacier glasses ready. It will happen right over my back yard in Wilson, WY. About 5 miles from the southwest entrance to Grand Teton Nat. Park. High altitude and clear air. We should be good, thunderstorms usually later in the afternoons. I might sell parking/camping space, we are expecting lots of peeps.

Thank you for the video. It's pretty interesting! I've heard this eclipse will actually be much more powerful than the rest.

Got us a hotel room in Eugene. We'll be driving-up there, early Saturday, playing tourist Sunday, and scouting places to watch from --- inside the 'zone of totality' . . . closer to Albany, few hours North. Used to spend my Summers 'round Eugene --- little town called Crow, on the West side, as you're heading to Florence on the coast

'll be interesting to see how things 've changed since

Wanted to take 1059 but --- Zovig can't drive a stick (and not that I haven't offered to teach her), so . . .

    . . . we'll be Hertzing it

Anyway --- really-REALLY looking forward to this. And I'm bringing my itsy-bitsy camera

    And as for that video/simulation? . . .

    . . . missing the 'diamond ring'

Hey Steve, it's been a while since I have been to Wilson, is the stagecoach bar still around?

Yup, the Coach is still there and still rockin' every Sun night with the Stagecoach Band. Some things do not change.
