Probably like any other targa with the folding roof removed. The factory stainless roll bar doesn't add any rigidity, only when the folding roof is installed does it stiffen things up. Not much at that.

Ad says it started life as a coupe. Targas had quite a few body mods to stiffen them up due to the lack of a roof. Not saying targas dont flex, but a coupe with its roof cut off is probably as stiff as jello

I own it. Feels pretty stable actually, though have been mainly just cruising it on the freeway and around town. Sportomatic also makes for a nice cruiser. Female owner since the 80's. Yeah, shouldn't be too difficult to get a roof back on it and take it back to it's original Sand Beige. Original California car with very solid original undercarriage. Excellent panel gaps.

The stainless cover is just that, covering a substantial steel rollover structure that does add rigidity laterally.

When you state "numbers match" do you mean that the old Copart number matches the price?

Ha, my wife calls them (THD's, Techie Hipster Douchbags). Most of them around here don't even drive! They get bussed to their six figure jobs at Google or Facebook. And take Lyft or Uber around town.
