    911_2.2T has run out of pads...checking to see if anyone has a spare pad they could sell me for my RS clone. Ironically I ordered one for my targa (and is in my targa, which is a more faithful and pristine "original") and didn't have the foresight to order another in anticipation of buying a coupe and building a RS clone! Let me know if you are willing to part with a spare (or if anyone knows of a good '73 replica pad as opposed to the bad aftermarkets out there...

    I wish the engine pads were made of some non flammable material.

    Are there any of the pads on the market which is non flamable and looks ok? For a 67 model.

    Don’t know about flame retardency, but google auto foreign. Not certain what the board policy is these days, but pre-early ‘71 pads are well-covered there.

    Thanks, yes I know about Eric's pad, but am looking for a less expensive alternative for my 67 912.
