Remove glove box 73 with airco

My 73 911 is equiped with air conditioning. Now I want to remove the glove box in order to have it repaired.
Any advice or suggestions how to remove it, preferably in an easy way? The airconditioning is fitted under the lower dashboard section and appear to be factory original.

    Thanks!

You indeed have Behr fac A/C; a nice option. Remove the 4 screws holding the vent panel and it will drop down enough to remove the box. The clamping screw is of course accessed by swinging the glovebox door down.

    EZ-PZ.

To be sure: The glove box door is fixed by three screws. After dropping the vent pannel unscrew the glove box door?
    Will check during the weekend.

No need to remove the door.
