    FS: Solex snorkel

    SOLD

    Replaced with a shelf worn NOS unit, so this one is expendable. Has one small dent, easily repaired (see below).

    Exactly as photographed and described.

    Finally found the last snorkel to complete the sets that I robbed from years ago because guys gave me sob stories.

    Lesson learned: Don't break up sets of anything.

    BTW: Did you notice the super, duper early '64 date stamp on this snorkel?

    I'm sure you know snorkels have a "hidden" stamp.

    I didn't know that. I just assumed it was original to my October 1965 car. Just don't flip it to some desperate 901 restorer. IIRC, didn't you acquire a '64 car? If so, glad it is in your hands.
