Cannot open my glovebox anymore (key turns/open/lock)

My 71T is always in good shape, opened the glovebox recently...and today cannot anymore.
Key does open and lock the knob but when I turn/open and pull, it does not open.
Assuming the pin is broken? Any help to proceed, thx

I assume you checked that the lock tightening ring hasn't loosed and just rotated the lock so it wont open ?

Will check again but usually i can pull it open w the key when turning..i own the car since 2005 so ive done it a hundred times. Assuming its a pin which goes into dashboard underneath and stays locked even the key/knob is opening.
(Knob does has a rubber seal around) anybody? Thx Chuck.

Thx for the link, guess I need to take off the box from behind to then get access to the door.

    Bingoo!
I managed to open it in 10seconds, with an old modified/cut creditcard.
Cut it, slided it behind the pin/lock, pulled and opened. No damage no nothing.

The tip comes off a pelican thread and where both creditcard cutting and trick is explained.
Thanks ToddSimpson so much for all this, very greatful:
