    Ben can be found via Facebook... he has a live site there.

    This is a very fixable bit. Suggest going to your local airport to look for a welder. They are much better at welding castings and mag than the local guy who builds iron fences. Beachcraft, Cessna, Mooney and many others have a lot of lightweight NLA castings. Bushings can be made from stock by most auto machinists.

    If it needs to be refaced that's easy/basic too. Along w a sheet of glass and some 600 wet/dry sand paper and machine oil to polish it flat.

    He might be able to be found but getting him to actually send you a part is like pulling teeth from a shark.......not likely to be a success.

    There isn't anything wrong with the cover pictured, just looking for a repop. I just posted the pix for clarification. Years ago our friend Scott StPeter gave me a repop to look at it was perfect, I just figured others had made these. Gordon
