    Writing on Porsche 911S 1967 dash?

    Removed the dash to find chassis number and more
    Writing on the LHS of dash would anyone know what that means?

    yes it is.. but I cant make out what the other side says. the character on the top left as we are looking at it could be a signature of the painter who painted it Coffee Brown, but they are usually much smaller when I have seen them, and If so I dont know what the rest may be it looks like 1 or 7, 6, 9 or 4, 1 to me but that does not fit in with the date made (late December 66 or early Jan 67) , colour (80342) or anything else that comes readily to mind.

    yes it is 307250S (i read the previous post as 307 rather than 301as that is what I knew it to be)

    Don't/didn't they do the number "1" with the leading upwards slant if the number is at the start of sequence? If so, it could be "16 11" or November 16 1966. My 10th b-day.

    The correct VIN or chassis # is 307250S; has to be above 305100 to be a 1967.
    It would be helpful to know the paint code stamped on the badge; a photo is better.
