ACL short stroke std. plus .001" racing rod bearing set

It took me about five years to get these ACL race rod bearing sets for short stroke 911 std. size with an extra .001" clearance to allow oil to flow better. I ordered 20 sets and got 16 so I am offering 8 sets for $125 each, all SOLD. These are top quality bearings, superior to current oem offerings. Perfect fourth of July gift.

Not a single reply, I guess some of you trust a major SoCal engine builder when he says .0015" clearance is OK for racing. It isnt. A cross drilled crank, late oil pump and at least .0025" rod bearing clearance can help avoid very expensive failures.

One set does 1 motor, includes 12 bearing halves. 6 sets left.

Must have been the guilt you laid on all of us. lol

Honestly, I wasn't thinking too carefully when I read the ad and there was a little confusion as to quantity and pricing. When it finally hit me I wish that I would have bought all that you were offering. We use Clevite 77 on our race cranks because they have Buick and Honda size journals. On stock street motors sometimes we need just a little more clearance than stock bearings provide.

    Thanks Rick!

BTW: The current batch of Glyco rod bearings are absolutely terrible. Virtually unuseable as they come out of the box.
