A little bump. Aren't those the wrong caps for those wheels? Thanks.

3 prong are correct for those wheels change over to circle ones was later in '73. Thicker rims on the center openings take the 3 prong ones.

Right. But are these "10" wheels (I thought they were) or "00"? (ad should show part number(s) 911 361 020 00 or 10) Plus the holes on the subject wheels do not look like the ones with the "rim" on them, they look too big...to my eye but, yes, it is hard to tell. Below, note the thickness of the rim where the cap mounts. "00" is thicker (for pronged cap) "10" is thinner for cap with detents, not prongs. Generally speaking , the "00" wheels are more valuable.

How about a picture of the part # that will give us the answer. Ending in .00 or .10?

Are you a buyer for these or are you simply doing research / playing Jack Sparrow?

I will clean and photo the wheel part #s tomorrow and I will clip the 3 prong caps in place (the later style caps do not fit these wheels)

This is a very helpful board when it comes to lining up proper part numbers with our early cars. Most likely, that is the reason for the request. Nothing more...nothing less.

    Thanks for the compliment:

"Jack Sparrow is one of the nine pirate lords in the Brethren Court, the Pirate Lords of the Seven Seas. He can be treacherous and survives mostly by using wit and negotiation rather than by force, opting to flee most dangerous situations and to fight only when necessary."
