1964 901 Engine Case. Very Early

This extremely early case has been in my collection for years. 900139 which is the 39th made. It originally came in car number 300046 which was finished on October 14th 1964 Whereabouts of the chassis is unknown. At some point in time the engine threw a rod and created some damage. The previous owner d the case told me that they ran the engine as it is now. You can see where they repaired part of the case. It might require more repairs. You decide. This is most likely the earliest 901 911 engine case available for sale. Case stamping a are the large font. I collect very early 901 parts and I have cases in Small and also Large font stampings. Apparently they used both. No date stamp on the case..... as none of the 64's had them. Take a close look at the pics. Feel free to pm me with any questions. Thanks.

Car #46 is not listed on the 1964 911 Registry so may be lost...but what a barn find it would be...just 3 numbers shy of the Seinfeld car. Nice case Tate! GLWS!!!
