Question on mysterious Porsche intake and carbs

    Hi all,

I have the intake manifold that i am wanting to sell but i dont know what its from yet. I know its porsche

the intake manifold itself has the part number 901-108-312-03

and it has 3 solex carbs p40 1 made in germany on them with the top plate all the linkage and such

one carb even has the original metal id tag under the screw at the top

now each carb is frozen so the linkage does not work right now,

the bottom manifold has cracks on the runners that need to be welded up

and two of the bottom intake manifold bolt hole ears are cracked off

all the linkage is complete the entire manifold and carb setup is complete

i know these are rather rare and hard to find and i believe they are mid 60's Porsche 911

i want to sell the entire set up but dont know what its worth i guess it would be for parts, the carbs are rebuildable and the intake is definitely weldable and fixable.

any thoughts comments or even a buyer would be appreciated?

im in New York willing to ship

Maybe $500-$1k? A photo would be worth a hundred words though.

Who's dumpster did you pull this from?

And why do you say the manifold is weldable and fixable?

i will post pictures tomorrow, a buddy of mine had it in his garage, believe it or not someone had it attached to a chevrolet inline 6 tri carb manifold,

the porsche manifold and carbs are all complete and matching

i say its fixable because the cracks someone put some type of putty on them to seal them. i was going to ask about $1500 and take $1000 theres one in nicer shape but needs a rebuild i believe on ebay for $3500

i understand people can ask whatever they want but i feel its worth around 1000+

I want to see a picture of that thing bolted to a chevy as well. Good luck with that frozen carb Frank. You never could resist junk.
