Question 1967 911 pressure line failure

I have a newly restored 1967 911 Targa that I'm just finishing. I now have blown 2 pressure oil lines. They failed at the crimped fitting at the engine ( left side ). I thought that I might have had a bad line at first but now that it happened twice I'm looking for suggestions. The car doesn't have a pressure gauge. I did notice that it happened under acceleration. First time in the shop while revving the motor the second while driving and accelerating. Both times I immediately shut down once hearing the line pop. Thanks in advance for your input.

Temporarily install a generic mechanical oil pressure gauge so you can see what the pressure is. Was the engine rebuilt during all this restoration work?

Could be some kind of restriction in the scavenge circuit. Does this happen hot or cold? When you start a cold 911 motor the scavenge pump sends more oil and less air for about a minute then more air gets mixed with the oil and the danger of high pressure decreases. Maybe a problem with the bypass valve in the filter console. Some riacers like Wix filters for less restriction. I have seen the filter console installed in the wrong position blocking the return of oil to the tank and damaging parts.

42 thousand miles on the motor. Top end wand carbs redone. Next plan was to install pressure gauge. Will do tomorrow.

Happens after the car is warmed up. Used a Porsche filter. Will check the install.
