"Correct" Bungee Cord for door pocket

    Hi all,
just ordered from local Porsche dealer a new bungee cord for the door pockets to replace mine (after 44 years it's tired).

I just discovered that the new bungee cord form Porsche is thinner than the original and I hope it will not escape from cord stops.

Here is a photo of the new vs. the old.

Is there anyone can suggest a source for a correct bungee cord ?

I don't know what those dimensions are that you show, but have you really tried it yet? We have used thinner, and stays in the plastic cord ends just fine.
